When playing Omaha Hi/Low, is Q-J-3-4 a legitimate hand to play?
Well, it's legal, because there are four cards, but that's the best thing I can say for it. It isn't high enough to be of any use for high, and it isn't low enough to be of any use for low. In virtually any type of poker game--loose, tight, low stakes, high stakes--this hand rates to be a BIG money loser over the long term, although, of course, like any Omaha hand, once in a while, it will flop something monstrous (A-2-5 or Q-Q-J come to mind).
